Accountabilities:
- Lead the design, development, and launch of new auto insurance products and enhanced features across digital-first platforms, ensuring alignment with member needs and business strategy.
- Oversee product lifecycle management, including post-launch monitoring, performance analysis, and ongoing optimization of rates, rules, and coverage offerings.
- Partner with underwriting, pricing, data, and technology teams to translate business strategy into scalable product configurations and system implementations.
- Evaluate market trends, competitive intelligence, and internal performance data to inform product strategy and identify opportunities for innovation.
- Drive cross-functional alignment across compliance, legal, risk, and operations teams to ensure all product initiatives meet regulatory and governance standards.
- Develop and communicate clear product value propositions and ensure effective rollout across all distribution and customer channels.
- Lead analysis of product performance metrics and guide decision-making for enhancements, adjustments, or broader market expansion.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Statistics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience in product development, underwriting, actuarial work, financial services, or related insurance/military environments.
- Strong experience in end-to-end product lifecycle management, including development, launch, and ongoing optimization.
- Deep understanding of insurance product frameworks, including pricing, rating, underwriting, and policy administration.
- Experience working within Agile environments and managing multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data insights into product decisions.
- Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and break down complex initiatives into deliverable components.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with proven ability to influence across cross-functional and matrixed organizations.
- Nice to have: experience with insurance platforms such as Guidewire and exposure to large-scale transformation programs in regulated industries.
- Competitive salary range of $131,240 – $250,850 annually, based on experience and location.
