LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

The primary purpose of this position is: to serve as the Chief, Posture Branch, of the Logistics Plans, Strategy and Policy Division within the US Central Command (USCENTCOM) J4 Logistics and Engineering Directorate (CCJ4). Serve as the senior USCENTCOM Subject Matter Expert (SME) responsible for planning, policy, strategy and guidance for logistics Global Defense Posture (GDP) and Posture Planning. Serve as the senior USCENTCOM Subject Matter Expert (SME) responsible for planning, policy, strategy and guidance for logistic aspects of enduring posture locations. USCENTCOM senior J4 representative to the monthly Joint Staff/Office of Secretary of Defense (JS/OSD) Global Posture Integration Council (GPIT) (06 level) and the quarterly Global Posture Executive Committee (GPEC) (Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense, General Officer/ Flag Officer level) in the formulation of policy, capability development, direction and synchronization of all aspects of enduring posture locations across the DOD. Serves as the senior USCENTCOM Subject Matter Expert (SME) responsible for planning, policy, strategy and guidance for logistics and engineering Combat Service Support (CSS) Global Force Management (GFM). Senior USCENTCOM SME on all aspects of logistics and engineer CSS GFM planning, policy, strategy and guidance for future surge requirements in support of peacetime and wartime force structure requirements.
