Software Engineer - Salary: £84,500 - £157,500 annualA leading innovative organisation in the global aerospace and defence sector is looking for a Software Engineer. This role focuses on the design, implementation, and verification of real-time embedded software and signal processing algorithms. You will work within an Agile team to develop specialised communication systems and ensure seamless hardware integration.What you'll be doing• Developing embedded communication systems software with a focus on real-time performance.• Designing and troubleshooting signal processing algorithms for software-defined radio systems.• Collaborating with cross-functional teams including hardware and systems engineers.• Contributing to the strategic direction of digital signal processing solutions.• Implementing and testing large-scale software systems in resource-constrained environments.What we're looking for• Proficiency in C++ and C programming languages and object-oriented development.• Experience with Linux, real-time operating systems (RTOS), and multi-core architectures.• Background in developing software that controls digital and RF hardware components.• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of four years of relevant professional experience.• Must be legally authorized to work...
