Accountabilities:

    The Senior Software Engineer, Fullstack will play a key role in building, maintaining, and evolving scalable software solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.

    • Partner with product management, operations, sales, and marketing teams to understand business needs and translate them into effective platform solutions.
    • Design, prototype, develop, test, deploy, and maintain fullstack applications and features throughout the product lifecycle.
    • Write clean, maintainable, and scalable end-to-end code following engineering best practices.
    • Take ownership of assigned projects by deeply understanding technical requirements, architecture decisions, and business impact.
    • Perform comprehensive testing and quality checks before submitting code for review and deployment.
    • Participate actively in code reviews, technical discussions, and engineering process improvements.
    • Contribute to system architecture decisions and help shape the future technical direction of the platform.
    • Mentor and support other engineers as the team continues to grow.
    • Manage priorities independently in an asynchronous remote environment while maintaining strong communication and accountability.
    • Continuously learn and adopt new technologies to improve platform capabilities and engineering efficiency.
    • Requirements:

      The ideal candidate is an experienced fullstack engineer with strong technical expertise, product thinking, and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment.

      • 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
      • 2+ years of hands-on experience with JavaScript technologies including React, Node.js, Express, and TypeScript.
      • Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL database design principles.
      • Experience building scalable web applications and customer-focused digital products.
      • Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, with exposure to GCP or Azure also considered.
      • Experience collaborating with product teams and contributing to product design decisions.
      • Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code.
      • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to independently investigate and resolve technical challenges.
      • Ability to work effectively in a remote, asynchronous, and highly collaborative environment.
      • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
      • Bonus qualifications:

        • Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
        • Knowledge of caching technologies such as Redis.
        • Experience working with healthcare technology, privacy standards, or HIPAA compliance requirements.
