In this role, you will be the technical backbone supporting PS Core network performance for our customers. You'll combine deep technical expertise with hands-on delivery to ensure optimal network performance, seamless acceptance testing, and exceptional customer coordination. This position requires a proactive mindset, readiness for 24/7 support, and proven expertise in packet core technologies, 5GSA, IMS/VoLTE, and leading vendor architectures. We value technical competence, creativity, trust, and collaboration as we work together to build a better user plane experience.What You Will DoProvide comprehensive PS Core performance support and technical guidance to customersDesign, analyze, and optimize packet core network performance across 5GSA, EPC, VoLTE, and VoWiFi solutionsMonitor, troubleshoot, and resolve network performance degradation and data complaint spikes in real-timeConduct detailed analysis of packet core performance KPIs (ASR, PDP, VoLTE PSR, CSFB, SRVCC, TAU, Service Req SR, Bearer SR, RAU, X2O, Gx, Gy) and develop improvement plansAnalyze capacity KPIs (SAU, License, Throughput, CPU) and recommend optimization strategiesExecute acceptance testing and customer coordination activities with full technical documentation and training supportPrepare and present comprehensive technical analyses and performance reports to customersParticipate in troubleshooting initiatives during network performance challengesLeverage network tools and trace analysis to identify root causes and performance bottlenecksContribute to process improvements and automation initiatives to reduce manual effortThe Skills You Bring8-12 years of relevant experience in packet core network performance and supportBachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent qualificationHands-on, working-level expertise with vendor-specific packet core nodes (AMF, SMF, SGSN-MME, GGSN, SGW/PGW, EPDG, DRA, HSS)Product-level knowledge of Ericsson and Nokia architectures (minimum two vendors)Advanced understanding of 5GSA, EPC, VoLTE, and VoWiFi solutions with call flow knowledgeComprehensive knowledge of packet core surrounding nodes (AMF, SMF, PCRF, AAA, DNS, Charging) and their PM reporting toolsExpert-level ability to analyze and develop improvement plans for performance and capacity KPIsStrong grasp of critical parameters and their impact on packet core and VoLTE network KPIs at counter levelProficiency in SIP and Diameter interfaces with error code interpretationAdvanced skills in using network tools, trace analysis, and data interpretationFamiliarity with virtualization and cloud concepts; hands-on experience with virtual nodes is a plusKnowledge of automation technologies to streamline operationsWhy join Ericsson?At Ericsson, you´ll have an outstanding opportunity.
