Accountabilities:

    As a Senior Solution Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting public sector customers by combining technical expertise, business understanding, and consultative selling skills. You will collaborate across teams to create tailored solutions, accelerate adoption, and help organizations modernize their software delivery capabilities.

    • Partner with Account Executives to align technical strategies with customer objectives, support presales activities, and contribute to revenue growth through value-based solution selling.
    • Act as a trusted technical advisor for federal, state, and local government clients, helping them evaluate and adopt secure DevSecOps and MLOps solutions.
    • Deliver compelling product demonstrations, technical presentations, and proof-of-concept engagements for both technical and executive audiences.
    • Support RFI/RFP responses and proposal activities by ensuring technical accuracy and alignment with public sector procurement requirements.
    • Design solution architectures that address customer needs while considering compliance frameworks, security standards, and operational requirements.
    • Guide customers throughout the technical evaluation and adoption lifecycle by translating business challenges into scalable technology solutions.
    • Develop and promote best practices around DevSecOps, cloud adoption, software delivery, and secure development methodologies.
    • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams by sharing customer feedback and market insights to influence roadmap decisions.
    • Maintain expertise in emerging technologies, industry trends, and public sector digital transformation initiatives.
    • Participate in customer meetings, industry events, and field engagements requiring approximately 25% travel across the United States.
    • Requirements:

      The ideal candidate brings strong experience in solutions engineering, technical sales, and public sector technology environments, with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and build trusted relationships with diverse stakeholders.

      • 7+ years of experience in technical sales, presales, solutions engineering, or a related customer-facing technical role, preferably supporting U.S. public sector organizations.
      • Strong understanding of public sector programs, government procurement processes, compliance requirements, NIST standards, DoD frameworks, and security impact classifications.
      • Hands-on experience with DevOps technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, Git, CI/CD platforms, artifact management, build tools, and modern software development lifecycle practices.
      • Experience designing solutions across cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, including hybrid architecture scenarios.
      • Proven ability to lead technical demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and strategic conversations with both technical teams and senior executives.
      • Familiarity with enterprise sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC is a plus.
      • Experience supporting federal proposals, technical documentation, and customer engagement processes.
      • Strong communication, presentation, and storytelling skills with the ability to translate technical capabilities into business value.
      • Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to operate effectively in complex environments.
      • Relevant security certifications or government security clearance experience are considered valuable assets.
