Accountabilities

    • Design, build, and optimize scalable dimensional data models and data marts using dbt, ensuring consistency, performance, and usability across analytical and AI-driven use cases.
    • Develop and maintain a centralized semantic and metrics layer that defines business KPIs once and enables consistent consumption across dashboards, models, and downstream systems.
    • Partner with Data Engineering, Data Science, and DevOps teams to deliver reliable, production-grade datasets that support BI, predictive modeling, and AI/agent applications.
    • Translate complex and ambiguous business requirements into robust, well-structured data models and transformation logic.
    • Support the integration of third-party data sources to enrich the analytics ecosystem and improve decision-making capabilities.
    • Enforce data governance standards through testing frameworks, data lineage documentation, cataloging, and quality monitoring.
    • Act as a technical reviewer and mentor, improving code quality, enforcing best practices, and supporting the growth of junior analytics team members.
    • Requirements

      • 4+ years of experience in Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, or Business Intelligence roles in data-intensive environments.
      • 2+ years of hands-on experience with dbt or equivalent data transformation tools, ideally in production-scale pipelines.
      • Strong expertise in SQL and dimensional data modeling, with a proven track record of building reliable and scalable data models.
      • Experience with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake or Amazon Redshift and modern analytics stack tooling.
      • Ability to translate complex business needs into scalable, production-ready data solutions with strong attention to detail.
      • Familiarity with data governance, testing frameworks, and building trusted data assets for downstream consumers.
      • Bonus: Experience with Python for data workflows, semantic layer design, or AI/ML-ready data products and streaming/CDC systems.

        • Competitive annual base salary range: $145,000 – $170,000 USD
