  • Draft and Negotiate Key Agreements: Draft, review, and negotiate high-value commercial agreements, partnership contracts, and vendor terms, ensuring robust risk management and intellectual property protections.

  • Manage Corporate Governance: Oversee corporate governance functions, including maintaining corporate records, drafting board resolutions, and preparing required regulatory filings.

  • Identify and Mitigate Risks: Proactively assess legal and regulatory risks across business operations, developing mitigation frameworks to protect the company from potential liabilities.

  • Develop Compliance Policies: Design and implement internal legal policies, operational guidelines, and compliance frameworks to foster a strong culture of ethical business practices.

  • Educational & Professional Credentials: Law degree along with an active legal license.

  • Relevant Legal Experience: Typically 5 to 10 years of professional legal experience in corporate and commercial law, gained within a multinational corporation or an established commercial law firm.

  • Modern Tech & Software Literacy: Experience using modern legal technology, including Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) software, entity management systems, and legal research platforms (such as Westlaw or LexisNexis).

  • Core Competencies: Exceptional analytical and drafting skills, with a proven ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment and explain complex legal concepts simply to non-legal business partners.

  • Professional Integrity: A high level of professional ethics, sound judgment, and commitment to collaborative teamwork.

Even better, you may have...

  • Advanced Legal Education: A Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Corporate Law, Commercial Transactions, or a related field.
