Accountabilities
- Drive revenue growth and achieve defined sales targets across the U.S. dairy and ruminant business by developing and executing strategic account plans.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers at feed manufacturers, distributors, and other strategic partners.
- Identify customer needs and align tailored product and service solutions from across the portfolio to deliver measurable value.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including Technical Service, Product Management, Marketing, and R&D, to design customized solutions for key accounts.
- Partner with regional field teams to ensure effective execution of sales strategies and consistent customer engagement.
- Analyze customer business models, market dynamics, and competitive trends to identify growth opportunities.
- Manage multiple strategic accounts while maintaining a disciplined, self-directed approach to planning and execution.
- Travel extensively (50–60%) to engage with customers, strengthen relationships, and support business development efforts in the field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in B2B sales within the ruminant, dairy, or related agricultural industries.
- Proven track record of achieving revenue growth, expanding accounts, and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong ability to build, develop, and maintain strategic customer relationships at senior decision-making levels.
- Deep understanding of dairy production systems, feed manufacturing, or agricultural supply chain business models.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a remote environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong overall digital literacy for reporting and account management.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working in a high-autonomy, field-based sales role.
