About the Role
We’re looking for an FDE to work directly with enterprise clients integrating our platform into their business workflows. You will be embedded with clients - understanding their operational processes, configuring the platform for their needs, debugging issues end-to-end, and ensuring they achieve high-quality outcomes across their use cases.
This is a hands-on, client-facing engineering role. You’ll split time between writing code (integration scripts, platform configuration, bug fixes) and working directly with client engineering and business teams. You’ll develop deep expertise in the platform and become the trusted technical point of contact for your accounts.
What You’ll Do
Integrate our APIs and platform into client workflows - handling authentication, file uploads, job orchestration, webhook callbacks, and export pipelines
Configure and tune platform workflows for client-specific needs, business requirements, and quality expectations
Debug workflow failures across the platform stack - identifying root causes across different services, integrations, and processing stages
Write integration scripts, API wrappers, and automation tooling that help clients adopt the platform faster
Manage client-specific configurations, business rules, and operational settings to improve output quality and consistency
Monitor system health, track SLA metrics, and proactively surface issues before clients notice
Document integration patterns, create client-facing guides, and maintain FAQs for common issues
Participate in presales - building POC demos, running technical evaluations, and presenting platform capabilities
File detailed bug reports and feature requests back to the platform engineering team, with reproduction steps from real client workloads
Contribute code improvements to internal platform services when client issues require upstream fixes
What We’re Looking For
3+ years of experience in software engineering, solutions engineering or technical support engineering
Strong Python skills - comfortable reading and writing production code, debugging async systems, and working with REST APIs (non-negotiable)
Familiarity with API integration patterns: REST, webhooks, authentication flows, file uploads, polling vs. push
Basic understanding of data processing fundamentals, common file formats, CLI tools, and system integrations
Ability to debug across distributed systems - reading logs, tracing requests through queues, identifying failure points
Strong communication skills - able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and translate client needs into engineering requirements
Comfort working in Linux/macOS CLI environments, using Git, Docker, and cloud consoles (Azure/GCP)
Self-starter attitude - ability to work independently at client sites with minimal supervision
Bonus Points
Experience working with enterprise platforms, workflow automation, or large-scale business systems
Familiarity with domain-specific workflows relevant to enterprise customers
Exposure to ML/AI concepts and modern software systems at a conceptual level
Experience with FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, Redis, or PostgreSQL
Prior client-facing engineering experience in a startup or SaaS environment
Familiarity with Kubernetes, Helm, or container orchestration
