Your Role
• Take full ownership of robotics & industrial AI business development in China, develop market entry strategy, identify first customers, and drive initial wins.
• Conduct in-depth research on robotics, industrial AI, automation trends, technical shifts, and competitor landscape. Independently define product requirements and align with Product Engineering to launch market-winning solutions.
• Identify and develop full-industry-chain customers -- robotics manufacturers, industrial automation players, AI solution providers, and smart factory operators. Drive business docking, sampling, and mass production.
• Work closely with other Sales Teams, Engineering, Product Line Management, Logistics, Quality, Finance, and other functions to win as one team. You are not building a standalone sales team from scratch, you are mobilizing existing capabilities to create new business.
• Own the full sales cycle: from lead development, quotation, commercial negotiation, bidding, contract signing, to payment collection.
Your Background
• 3+ years of experience in B2B technical sales within robotics, industrial automation, AI hardware, or related emerging fields.
• Proven ability to build new business from scratch, understand the ecosystem: who the key players are, how decisions are made, what the technical pain points are. You have existing relationships in the industry.
• Technical fluency: you don't need to be an engineer, but you can understand technical concepts and translate them into customer value. You can talk to engineers and business leaders in the same conversation.
• Comfortable with ambiguity. You are not waiting for a customer list; you are ready to create one.
