In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Develop, maintain, and manage work instructions, manufacturing documentation, and technological process standards.
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor manufacturing and engineering projects while balancing timelines, costs, and quality requirements.
- Design, implement, and continuously improve cost-effective manufacturing technologies and production methods.
- Analyze, support, and optimize existing production processes to improve efficiency, quality, and productivity.
- Specify, design, procure, and implement manufacturing equipment, tooling, fixtures, and production aids.
- Collaborate closely with global manufacturing teams, quality, maintenance, logistics, and product development functions.
- Support the introduction of new products, processes, and manufacturing lines, including ramp-up and change management activities.
- Deliver training and technical guidance to production personnel and communicate project updates, performance metrics, and results to stakeholders.
- Utilize manufacturing data, ERP, MES, and other digital tools to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience in a manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, production engineering, or similar technical role within a serial production environment.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and production technologies, including assembly, machining, testing, and automation.
- Experience applying Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies such as 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, and waste reduction initiatives.
- Knowledge of industrial engineering methods, process optimization, line balancing, capacity planning, and standardization.
- Understanding of quality tools and problem-solving methodologies, including FMEA, Control Plans, 8D, Ishikawa, and 5 Why analysis.
- Experience with project management and the industrialization of new products and processes.
- Familiarity with ERP, MES, manufacturing systems, and production data analysis.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in English and German.
- Advanced degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Certifications or additional training in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Quality Management, Automation, or Project Management.
- Experience supporting global manufacturing operations.
- Experience implementing automation, digital manufacturing, or Industry 4.0 solutions.
- Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills.
