This role is focused on designing, building, and operating the company’s data platform, data infrastructure, and data reliability systems.If you enjoy designing robust data architectures, building reliable and scalable pipelines, and enabling high-quality analytics and data-driven decision-making, this role is a great fit.You will join a focused engineering team in Berlin and take responsibility for our core data infrastructure, supporting operations, and product teams with trusted, well-structured data.Our tech stack includes Python, SQL, Fivetran, BigQuery, Dataform, Sigma, GA4. What you will work onData EngineeringDesign, build, and maintain scalable batch and real-time data pipelines across multiple sources and systemsData ArchitectureDevelop and evolve our data warehouse/lakehouse architecture with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliabilityData Quality & ReliabilityImplement monitoring, validation, and observability solutions to ensure trustworthy data across the organizationCollaborationWork closely with Product, Operations, and Engineering teams to design and maintain scalable data infrastructure that enables self-service reporting.OwnershipTake end-to-end responsibility for data initiatives, from design and implementation to production rollout and ongoing optimizationPerformance OptimizationImprove data processing efficiency, query performance, and cost-effectiveness across the platform About youYou are passionate about data engineering and solving complex technical data problemsYou have solid experience as a Data Engineer in fast-paced, data-driven environmentsYou have strong hands-on experience with Python and SQLYou have experience with tools such as Fivetran, BigQuery, Dataform, Sigma, GA4You have worked with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and modern data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)You understand data modeling, ETL/ELT patterns, and building scalable data systemsExperience with streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka) is a plusFluency in English is required; German is a plusWhat we offerKey responsibility in a small, experienced engineering teamModern office in vibrant Kreuzberg, with up to 3 days of work from home per weekMonthly mobility budget for public transport, bike, or shared mobilityStrong team culture with regular events, drinks, and snacks in the officeOpportunity to shape a modern cloud-based data platform in a fast-scaling health tech environmentHow We Operate - Non-Negotiable:1.
