Accountabilities:
- Define and maintain scalable design standards for AI-driven experiences, including conversational UX, agentic workflows, and human-in-the-loop interactions.
- Build and evolve a semantic token architecture integrated with development workflows and design tooling (e.g., Figma and code-based systems).
- Establish governance models for contribution, review, versioning, and communication of design system updates.
- Create and maintain documentation that is actionable for product teams and consumable by AI systems and internal agents.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to ensure consistency, scalability, and adoption across multiple platforms and products.
- Define and track design system performance metrics, ensuring continuous improvement and measurable impact on product delivery.
- Advanced proficiency in Figma, including variables, auto layout, component properties, branching, and design system workflows.
- Deep understanding of semantic design tokens and experience integrating them into development pipelines using tools such as Token Studio or Style Dictionary.
- Experience designing for AI-powered products, including conversational interfaces, generative experiences, and agent-based workflows.
- Strong collaboration skills with engineering teams, with the ability to align design systems with frontend architecture and implementation constraints.
- Experience working with Design System governance, documentation, and cross-functional stakeholder management.
- Strong systems thinking, with the ability to connect product strategy, user experience, and technical implementation.
