RES Program Manager

About the role:
As a Program Manager in Rotating Equipment Services (RES) you will be responsible for managing the Reactor Coolant Pump (RCP) program. You will help manage the strategic direction of programs including forecasting, prioritization, and inventory of critical components. You will also act as the responsible project manager for individual purchase orders and contracts.
You will report to the Rotating Equipment Services Manager and be located at our Waltz Mill facility in Madison, PA. This is a hybrid position that requires 2 days per week onsite and periodic travel to customer sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support RES offer development process for RCP projects.
- Provide input to the RES leadership team to establish priority for backlog work and opportunities.
- Provide coordination with the RES Field Services teams to ensure smooth transition of work between the Shop Operations Team and the Field Services crews installing and removing RCP's at customer locations. This may include travel to customer sites periodically to support internal turnover.
- Assume overall responsibility for delivering as sold cost and margin for the RCP Program.
- Support financial forecasting of RCP backlog projects and future opportunities. This may include entering the forecast or reviewing forecasts entered by other project managers.
- Provide input to Shop Operations and Field Services Operations Managers regarding resource loading to ensure people and facilities are available to meet customer demands.
- Manage strategic inventory for RCP long lead-time components to ensure RES can maintain a competitive position with regards to project schedules.
- Be the primary contact for internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead project planning and execution activities across scope, schedule, cost, risk, compliance, procurement, quality, resources, communications, stakeholder management, and project closeout.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in project management, engineering, construction management, or manufacturing.
- 5 years of experience as a project manager leading medium or high complexity projects to successful completion.
- Expertise in Project Management Institute's Project Management Body of Knowledge.
- Westinghouse Program Manager qualification.
- Experience with reactor coolant pumps or other rotating equipment
We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $116,800.00 to $146,000.00 per year.
