Provide overall leadership for product development, technology initiatives, and other strategic projects to support Manufacturing and Business Units across all sites.
 

•    Provide leadership and guidance for operational activities to ensure efficient execution and alignment with business objectives. 
•    Develop and implement operational roadmaps to support production readiness across all relevant functions. 
•    Ensure all new product introduction (NPI) activities adhere to required cycle times, specifications, standards, and procedural guidelines, including documentation and supporting materials. 
•    Coach and train team members on conducting analyses, simulations, and validation techniques to enhance design effectiveness and resolve quality or process-related issues. 
•    Provide training on industry-standard design principles, tolerancing, and technical requirements to support manufacturing capability and quality of all engineering or fabrication projects. 
•    Drive sourcing initiatives—including second sourcing and direct sourcing—to optimize cost efficiency and strengthen supply chain resilience. 
•    Prepare and deliver technical reports summarizing progress, accomplishments, and results for ongoing and completed projects. 
•    Collaborate with cross functional team to address issues, develop solutions, and ensure timely, effective resolution of operational challenges. 
•    Support continuous improvement initiatives by enhancing overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) through mechanical, process, or systems-related improvements. 
•    Design, develop, and document new concepts or product modifications that meet functional, reliability, manufacturability, and safety requirements.
 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics & Communications, Mechatronics, Chemical); professional license or master’s degree is an advantage. 
  • Minimum of 10 years of extensive experience in a semiconductor environment or in a comparable technical/operations role. 
  • Strong engineering fundamentals with proven application in complex manufacturing or technical settings. 
  • Proficient in CAD software with the ability to interpret and create detailed technical designs. 
  • Skilled in the use of basic to advanced measuring instruments and knowledgeable in their proper application. 
  • Strong understanding of statistical process control (SPC) and various problem‑solving methodologies. 
  • Demonstrated business acumen with the ability to align technical decisions with operational and financial objectives. 
  • Capable of managing multiple priorities while making sound, timely decisions. 
  • In‑depth knowledge of wafer fabrication processes, factory operations, and assembly and test operations. 
  • Committed to performing all activities safely and in compliance with Health, Safety, and Security (HSS) requirements.
