What's this job involves

Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, administer a training program for staff in those laws and regulations including individual responsibilities for compliance, and administer a monthly audit program to ensure appropriate monitoring of internal Statutory operational functions in a timely manner • Responsible for managing all activities that serve to provide appropriate access to and protect the confidentiality and information in compliance with regulations, policies, and standards. • Managed state and central Labour Laws reporting and advised staff of regulatory requirement and updated, and audit data, documents, and process to ensure compliance managed annual reporting to authorizing agencies, including research, data analysis, and report development. • Developed, initiated, maintained, and revised policies and procedures for the general operation of the Compliance Program and its related activities to prevent illegal, unethical, or improper conduct. • Managed day-to-day operation of the Program • Collaborated with other departments (e.g., Risk Management, Internal Audit, etc.) to direct compliance issues to appropriate existing channels for investigation and resolution. • Consulted with Corporate attorney as needed to resolve difficult legal compliance issues. • Identified potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk; developed/implemented • corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues and provided general guidance on how to avoid or deal with similar situations in the future. • Provided reports on a regular basis, and as directed or requested, to keep the Corporate • Compliance Committee of the Board and senior management informed of the operation and progress of compliance efforts, State/Federal Examinations, etc. • Directed the development or implementation of compliance-related policies and procedures throughout the organization. • Conducted direct the internal investigation of compliance issues. • Conducted internal periodic internal reviews or audits to ensure that compliance procedures are followed. • Identified compliance issues that require follow-up or investigation regarding Compliances. • Monitored compliance systems to ensure their effectiveness. • Managed over Background verification process & Completion status and uploading the report on SharePoint. • Conducted trainings on Background on-boarding portal internal Teams. • Monitored S&E (Shops & Establishment) Registration renewal process Pan India. • On-Boarding & De-boarding of vendors from Form-II registration with support of Client Compliance spoc. • Issuing the Form-V to opt the CLRA License to vendor with support of Client Compliance spoc. In particular, you’ll carry out the critical task of implementing compliances according to The Companies Act and other corporate laws.

Elevating our safety gameOn a daily basis, you’ll find yourself dealing with alerts, inquiries and questions regarding regulatory requirements. You will need to dedicate some time ensuring proper controls are in place to safeguard the company from risks. As the first line of regulatory defence, you will manage and conduct compliance reviews within the regulatory framework.

In other words, much of your time will be spent on monitoring everything that the business does and checking each activity against business internal controls.
