As HR Director at Conrad Dublin, you will be front and centre of the hotel’s cultural identity by coaching, inspiring and influencing the leadership team.  You will model warm-heartedness, fairness and integrity.  You are at the forefront of creating a culture of trust that empowers team members to speak up, feel safe, and advocate for others.


You will have the courage to challenge and influence the Team Member agenda on property in conjunction with the business objectives, you will take a clear leadership role in resolving complex and challenging situations


You will work closely with our UK&I HRBP Field Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, Learning and Talent Development and HR Analytics support functions to drive through the UK& Ireland and Luxury People Strategy. 


 

 

Here's what you'll do during a typical day:

•    As a dynamic and influential part of the senior leadership team, the HRD will harness the wider enterprise HR strategy and analytics to support and drive Conrad Dublin strategy in meeting its commercial, guest and Team objectives.
•    Inspirational leadership to build and grow an inclusive Team Member culture, through partnering with the Leadership team to positively impact engagement and retention rates.   
•    Supporting the recruitment process and working collaboratively with Talent Acquisition team in London, ensuring the selection of Top talent.   
•    Working with the HR &Training Manager and Heads of Department to ensure the entire Team have best in class Development plans
•    Coach, develop and support senior and operational leaders to be great bosses and to effectively performance manage their teams.
•    It will be your mission to support the HR & Training Manager to develop the Learning and Development agenda ensuring effective succession planning across the business.
•    Steering the success of a first-class HR service and ensuring operational leaders are maintaining their responsibilities in line with the service level agreements with the HR Shared Service Teams, Talent Acquisition, HR Analytics 
•    Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Irish employment law and Hilton policies, ensuring employee relations are managed consistently and transparently, protecting both team members and the organisation’s reputation
•    Working collaboratively with central HR functions, conducting hotel talent reviews and maintaining robust succession and attraction plans to ensure a strong leadership pipeline for the hotel and across Hilton locally and globally.
•    Custodianship for local attraction initiatives/projects, local intern/work-experience placements and In-to-Work partnerships whilst supporting the delivery and coordination of UK&Ireland wide talent acquisition events/partnerships.
•    Champion community careers engagement activities including careers in Hilton, Conrad Dublin and hospitality as a choice working with second and third level education developing a best in class work experience and placement programme 
•    Drive the delivery and communication of new Hilton HR initiatives, policy and procedures and participate in regional projects as they arise.
•    Champion, nurture, and sustain a positive work environment through an effective communication strategy for all team members.
•    Drive the Team Member lifecycle, including the attraction and recruitment experience, onboarding journey, appreciation, recognition and career journey, creating an environment where everyone wants to join, and no one wants to leave.
•    Provide a platform for a personal growth mindset and a culture of excellence

 

What are we looking for?
•    A luxury mindset 
•    Minimum 5 years HR Management experience 
•    Strong influencing and communication skills, with the courage to challenge senior stakeholders.
•    Agile and driven to deliver in a fast-paced environment.
•    Ability to show compassion, fairness and drive a culture of engagement and wellbeing for all team members whilst meeting business objectives.
•    Previous hospitality experience is essential 
•    CIPD qualification
