**Your role and responsibilities**
As an Infrastructure Specialist in System Administration, you will provide 24/7 technical support for cloud-based solutions, ensuring seamless operations across various applications, DevOps, middleware, security, and infrastructure components. You will play a critical role in building, setting up, and maintaining new development tools, infrastructure, and networking.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Provide Technical Support: Deliver 24/7 technical support for cloud-based solutions, ensuring seamless operations across various applications, DevOps, middleware, security, and infrastructure components.
* Develop and Configure Infrastructure: Develop and configure infrastructure and configuration as code using Ansible and Terraform, and administer Dev, Test, and Production environments hosted on Windows, Linux, and Unix servers.
* Ensure System Security: Ensure systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats, identify and fix technical problems, and install software updates and fixes.
* Manage Cloud Applications: Manage Application ID, provide cloud elasticity by auto-scaling resources based on business requirements, and ensure DR and manual redundancy failover capabilities.
* Analyze and Resolve Issues: Identify and resolve issues involving APIs, application services, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, microservices, containers, Kubernetes nodes, and infrastructure problems.
**Required technical and professional expertise**
* Strong hands-on experience with Cisco network technologies.
* Proven experience in Routing and Switching (LAN/WAN) configuration, implementation, and troubleshooting.
* Required experience in managing and supporting Firewalls, including Next-Generation Firewalls such as Palo Alto, Fortinet, or Cisco Firepower.
* Strong understanding of network security, performance monitoring, and network optimization.
* Experience in diagnosing and resolving complex network issues.
* Knowledge of network protocols and best practices for enterprise environments.
