The Opportunity
The eCoE focuses on three areas delivering a high level of financial expertise, innovative insights, and an entrepreneurial mindset that enables agility and flexibility for stakeholders. The eCoE is a talent engine for Finance through capability building and network building.

While there are three focus areas and clusters, we are not seeking to create silos. We are looking for individuals who display the Finance Mindset and behaviors and will support a living organism that will leverage the business knowledge and financial expertise of the network to deliver exceptional results for Finance and Roche. Team members will partner with Roche Services & Solutions, Finance Enterprise Partners, and the Business to deliver many of Finance's core processes and deliverables while also driving process scaling/simplification/harmonization and progressing our digital ambition. Ensuring business continuity is a must.
The key deliverable of the role include :
Support monthly actual reporting events (incl. variance analysis), annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes, ensuring compliance of the Roche Digital Technology (RDT) financials with the overall Group Finance processes.
Support the analysis and production of reports to facilitate in-depth reviews and deep dives on financial and business performance.
Support the maintenance of high quality master data for RDT to ensure data accuracy and integrity and to guarantee consistent financial planning and reporting for the guidance and decision-making support.
Collaborate with the RDT teams and FEPs, and senior leaders, to gather, consolidate, and analyze financial data to provide clear and actionable insights in alignment with strategic objectives and financial goals.
Assist in the preparation of financial materials for leadership team meetings and other communication, and conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and scenario planning to support new business initiatives and key decisions (e.g. resource allocation).
Drive process improvements and automation initiatives, based on Digital and AI notably, to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial planning and reporting activities.
Support the lifecycle management of the team's digital solutions, representing requirements throughout the development process and assisting with key design decisions.
Enable / support the successful implementation of organizational changes and bring financial advisory to business and finance transformations and support the development and implementation of new sales and cost reporting models.
Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to ensure the organization’s financial planning processes remain relevant and effective.
Collaborate with other colleagues in the GFF Network on key initiatives in a high-performance work environment.
Who you are
You hold a university degree in Finance/Accounting, with 5+ years of relevant work experience.
You demonstrate strong expertise in Financial and trend analysis, financial modelling and management reporting.
You possess digital savvyness (experience in working with DIS - Diagnostics Information System preferred), intellectual curiosity and an ability to draw logical conclusions.
You demonstrate strong attention to details combined with the ability to clearly and concisely synthesize key messages and communication to senior management.
You are resilient and have the ability to adjust to a fast-changing environment. You possess strong interpersonal skills, collaboration, and influencing skills and ability to build trusting and productive relationships.
You have the ability to understand the business context and to apply judgment towards prioritization and decision-making.
You demonstrate entrepreneurial spirit and curiosity that is inspirational to others, generating ideas and seeing them through to action.
You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate financial information in a clear, concise manner that fosters understanding and action by members of the business (Story Telling).
Preferred
You hold an MBA and/or a professional accounting qualification (CPA, CA, ACCA, CIMA).

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Mississauga is 115,328.00 and 151,368.00 of hiring range.
