Harris Corporate IT is looking for an Integration Specialist. In this role, you will work with numerous teams throughout Harris to integrate an acquired company’s computer systems, applications, and networks with Harris’ existing network infrastructure. You will be an essential member of the Harris Integrations team, focused on projects that combine both technical insight and project management best practices. This remote position is based out of the Ottawa, ON office and will report to the Integration Services/Project Management Office (PMO) Manager. The role supports both internal and external projects and reporting standards.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Develop, execute, and monitor detailed project plans for IT integration initiatives.

  • Lead end-to-end project delivery, managing scope, timelines, and stakeholder expectations to ensure successful outcomes.

  • Coordinate scheduling and allocation of implementation resources across concurrent projects.

  • Provide regular status updates to management team and stakeholders, proactively identifying issues and resolving or escalating as appropriate.

  • Conduct post implementation project reviews; capture and apply lessons learned for continuous process improvement.

  • Prepare weekly project status reports for management review and project evaluation.

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for senior stakeholders across both acquired and acquiring entities.

Technical Execution:

  • Provide hands-on technical assistance to users at acquired companies throughout the integration process.

  • Perform integration and acceptance testing; develop system specifications meet business and technical requirements.

  • Troubleshoot network, identity, and application issues arising during integrations.

  • Lead or participate in cross-functional teams to address business or systems challenges.

  • Apply sound judgment in selecting appropriate methods and technologies to achieve integration objectives.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Business, or an associated discipline, or relevant work experience.

  • 5+ years of relevant experience within IT, preferably in Help Desk, Systems Administration, or Network Administration.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems (Windows 10/11)

  • Analytical skills to identify and resolve technical or operational challenges during integrations.

  • Strong commitment to customer service excellence.

  • Ability to maintain composure and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.

  • High attention to detail with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

  • Collaborative team player who works effectively with and through others.

  • A working knowledge of, or demonstrated interest in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and relevant tools; including an understanding of how AI can be applied to promote initiatives, streamline workflows, and improve processes.

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU STAND OUT

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows Active Directory (specifically around User objects management and creation).

  • Experience with Microsoft Exchange Server.

  • Experience with Microsoft Entra (Azure AD).

  • Familiarity with ITSM platforms (e.g. ServiceNow, ConnectWise).

  • Working knowledge of PowerShell or equivalent scripting language (e.g. Python, etc.).

  • Self-motivated with a demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.

Work Environment

  • Remote-first with occasional on-site visits to acquired company locations as needed.

  • Works independently with moderate direction on complex, multi-stakeholder assignments. in

  • Regular interaction with senior leadership, business partners, vendors, and cross-functional teams.

  • May lead multiple concurrent initiatives with varying priorities and deadlines.

  • Exercises sound judgment in determining methods and approaches to achieve objectives.

COMPENSATION DETAILS

The potential salary range for this role is $70,000 to $90,000 per year, with eligibility for bonus or merit program. Final compensation will be based on experience, skills, market conditions, and internal equity.
