Your New Role...

Working closely with FP&A, Accounting Finance teams, and LP legal and territory teams, the main focus of this role is to prepare various types of participation statements for international local productions, with a particular focus on German, Austrian and Swiss productions. Join to contribute to key financial processes and develop expertise in a global environment.

Your Role Accountabilities...

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual statements including producer participation, talent reporting (§32d UrhG), subsidy reporting, and dubbing contributor reporting for US titles
  • Coordinate posting and payment of German statements, ensuring required approvals in collaboration with P2P team
  • Coordinate corrections of expenses incorrectly assigned to local production titles with accounting teams
  • Respond to internal and external partner queries related to statements, cost, and revenue details
  • Review participation statements from third parties and coordinate processing with accounting and P2P teams
  • Prepare intercompany reporting, document business processes, and support financial audits
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements and respond to ad hoc requests from territories and Home Office

Qualifications & Experience...

  • Bachelor's degree (or currently pursuing a degree) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Familiarity with SAP, Power BI, or other financial reporting and analytics tools is a plus.
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken. German is a plus
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
