Your day in NTT DATA

Responsible for the on-site integration of company and multi-vendor systems solutions, which may include hardware, software and networking products as well as operating systems. On-site and/or remote installation, implementation, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting and/or repair of desktops, notebooks, printers, and associated peripherals. Serves as company liaison with client on administrative and technical matters. Interprets clients’ needs and clarifies if the responsibility for problem resolution falls to sales personnel, client support representatives or engineers. This role is primarily based at the client's site in Pardubice, with occasional travel as required.

Job Description:

  • Applies independent technical judgment in the field to diagnose, isolate, and resolve issues without step-by-step guidance.
  • Determines appropriate remediation actions based on standard practices, site conditions, and customer impact.
  • Evaluates incomplete, unclear, or inaccurate dispatch information and determines next steps independently
  • Identifies when issues fall outside dispatch scope and escalates appropriately, with clear technical justification
  • Manages on-site priorities based on business impact rather than relying solely on dispatch instructions
  • Adapts troubleshooting approach to non-standard environments (remote sites, mixed vendors, legacy hardware)
  • Their work regularly requires discretion and independent judgment, particularly in non-standard or ambiguous field situations where predefined procedures may not exist
  • This role assumes a level of technical maturity where technicians are not dependent on centralized guidance for routine troubleshooting or decision-making in the field.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously in dispatched field assignments.
  • Proven experience resolving issues without real-time engineering support.
  • Comfortable making technical decisions that impact customer operations.
  • Performs trouble shooting, parts replacement, system upgrades, basic deployment, and repair on desktops / notebooks/ printers.
  • Identifies potential issues that could adversely impact end user experience and takes corrective action.

Years of Experience:

  • 2-4 years’ relevant experience.

Minimum Education and Certifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Undergraduate degree or some college coursework preferred.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating system environment.
  • Advanced client service skills.
  • A+ desktop or equivalent skill set is required; MCP, MCSE, CNE or Network+ certification is preferred.

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions:

  • The person must be physically able to do normal office tasks, including occasionally lifting or moving items that can weigh up to 23 kg.
  • Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Significant travel including overnight domestic or international trips may be required.
