If you are looking to stretch and grow your career our culture will embrace you. Open up opportunities with HPE.Job Description:   This is a hybrid role; the selected candidate will work a minimum of 2 days per week from HPE office in St. Laurent.We are the core UI team behind Aruba Central, a flagship platform for managing HPE Networking infrastructure. The product brings the self-driving network vision to life and helps maintain HPE Networking as an industry leader.Responsibilities:Contribute to the UI architecture and development of complex cloud products using TypeScript and React (or equivalent frameworks), and take ownership of specific domains when needed.Translate product and technical requirements into clean, maintainable, and scalable front-end components and application flows.Define and enforce front-end engineering standards, including code quality, accessibility, performance, and design consistency.Support and improve the quality strategy for the UI layer by implementing and maintaining robust automated tests (unit and end-to-end), including Jest and Cypress.Collaborate with backend, DevOps, and platform teams to ensure seamless integration, reliable deployment, and observability of frontend services.Use AI-assisted coding effectively to accelerate delivery while validating output quality and preventing hallucinated or low-quality code.Review technical designs and pull requests, providing actionable feedback to reduce risk and improve product quality.Mentor and support less-experienced developers, and represent the UI engineering team in technical discussions when owning a specific topic or initiative.Drive continuous improvement by identifying and adopting relevant tools, frameworks, and engineering practices.Education and Experience Required:Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or closely related quantitative discipline.Typically, 7-10+ years’ experience. Knowledge and Skills:Strong programming skills in TypescriptKnowledge of React or another high level web framework (Angular, Vue.js…)AI-assisted coding. You use AI as an advanced tool and you can detect slop or hallucination.Atlassian Quality-driven. Cypress, Jest(UT)Altassian tools (Jira, BitBucket) or Github is a plusExcellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate product architectures and design proposals at senior management levels.
