Project Manager, Strategic & Scientific Research, Patient Centered Solutions

As a Project Manager within IQVIA's Patient Centered Solutions team, you will play a pivotal role in leading the successful delivery of a growing portfolio of patient-focused clinical research and implementation science projects. Supporting an expanding in-trial interview program, you will oversee a portfolio of complex studies, providing strategic project leadership from initiation through closeout. You will be accountable for ensuring quality, timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations are consistently met while serving as the primary point of contact for sponsors. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will drive operational excellence, champion the patient perspective, and contribute to research that shapes treatment development and healthcare outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the successful execution of studies from initiation through closeout, ensuring delivery against scope, timelines, budget, and quality objectives
Serve as the primary point of contact for sponsors, building strong client relationships and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction
Develop and maintain integrated project management plans and coordinate activities across cross-functional teams
Supervise and mentor Clinical Project Coordinators and Analysts, supporting team development and performance
Monitor project progress and communicate study status, key metrics, risks, and mitigation plans to internal and external stakeholders
Identify, assess, and proactively manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, driving timely resolution and corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with applicable SOPs, policies, processes, and quality standards
Manage project budgets, forecasting, and financial performance to ensure efficient project delivery
Partner with internal functions and external vendors to support study milestones and operational success
Support resource planning activities to ensure projects are appropriately staffed and aligned to business needs
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, lessons learned activities, and best-practice sharing across the organization
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare, Public Health, Psychology, or another related scientific discipline
5–8 years of project management experience within clinical research, patient-centered research, implementation science, healthcare, CRO, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology environments
Proven experience managing complex studies or portfolios involving multiple stakeholders and workstreams
Strong understanding of clinical research methodologies and applicable research regulations, including ICH-GCP principles
Demonstrated experience managing project budgets, forecasting, and financial performance
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate cross-functional teams
Strong risk management, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
Outstanding communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work effectively across global teams and diverse cultural environments
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Fluency in English is required
