Your Role in VT Markets
As Business Development Team Lead is responsible for driving revenue growth by leading a team focused on client acquisition and relationship management in a multi-asset instrument. This role requires a strong understanding of forex products, market dynamics, and B2B or HNI client needs. The ideal candidate will have proven sales leadership experience, deep forex knowledge, and the ability to drive business targets.

Working Hours: 12:00pm -9:00pm (GMT+8) from Monday to Friday

Requirements

What Makes You a Great Fit
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • Experience in multi-asset or Financial Markets, with at least 3+ years in a team leadership or senior sales role.
  • Deep understanding of multi-asset products: spot, forwards, options, and hedging strategies.
  • A strong network of corporate or high-net-worth clients is a plus.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Target-driven with a passion for sales and client engagement.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and market data platforms.
Other Requirements:
  • Fluency in English
  • Additional Hindi languages will be considered a significant advantage
  • Willingness to travel within Indian markets as per business needs
Preferred Attributes:
  • Experience in B2B multi-asset Sales or Corporate Treasury Sales.
  • Professional certifications like ACI, CFA, or FRM (optional but advantageous).
  • Knowledge of fintech multi-asset platforms or digital payment solutions is a plus.

Responsibilities

Your Responsibilities Will Include
Team Leadership
  • Manage and mentor a team of business development executives.
  • Set performance targets and ensure achievement of individual and team KPIs.
  • Conduct regular coaching sessions and pipeline reviews.
Business Development & Client Acquisition
  • Identify and pursue new client opportunities in corporates, SMEs, HNIs, or institutional segments.
  • Lead end-to-end sales cycles, from prospecting to onboarding.
  • Develop and implement go-to-market strategies for multi-asset instrument services.
Client Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients.
  • Deliver customized forex solutions based on client risk appetite and currency needs.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients on currency risk management and market trends.
Market Intelligence & Strategy
  • Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes in the multi-asset instrument space.
  • Collaborate with product and trading teams to develop client-focused offerings.
  • Provide feedback to senior management for business planning and product improvement.
Compliance & Risk Awareness
  • Ensure all client onboarding and transactions comply with local regulations (e.g., RBI, FEMA, SEBI) and internal policies.
  • Promote ethical sales practices and transparency.
