What you will do: As an assistant service engineer (Industrial Refrigeration), you will work carry out service, preventive maintenance, commissioning, overhaul, troubleshooting, installation, warranty repair, and other specialist activities on Johnson Controls and third-party industrial refrigeration systems How you will do it: Ensure service work is completed efficiently while minimizing repeat visits and warranty costs Identify potential service, repair, upgrade, and modernization opportunities and communicate them to the relevant stakeholders. Support and coordinate subcontractors working on behalf of Johnson Controls Maintain service vehicle (if any) and any other tools and/or equipment assigned to you in good condition Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to support customer retention and identify service opportunities. Promote and maintain a strong safety culture across all work sites, including contractors and third-party personnel Participate in an after-hours standby and emergency response roster as required Perform all service activities in compliance with company safety policies, customer requirements, and local regulations Conduct risk assessments and implement safe work practices before commencing work Generate accurate and timely service reports, including findings, corrective actions, recommendations, and follow-up requirements Utilize digital service management systems, mobile applications, and reporting tools to document service activities Investigate equipment failures and support root-cause analysis to improve reliability and customer uptime Support senior engineers in providing technical recommendations to customers regarding equipment reliability, performance, and maintenance requirements.
