Application Engr II
As an APC Support Engineer here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for providing on-site customer support, ensuring the successful deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of APC systems. You will be the primary technical resource for customers, delivering expert assistance and resolving issues to maximize customer satisfaction and system performance.
You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Santiago of Chile location on an hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact customer experience by delivering timely and effective technical support, enhancing system reliability, and fostering strong customer relationships through expert service and problem resolution.

- Provide on-site technical support and troubleshooting for APC systems to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues and implement solutions effectively.
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of APC products at customer sites.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in on-site customer support or technical support roles, preferably with APC systems or related technologies.
- Strong knowledge of APC products and their applications in customer environments.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues, system configuration, and network fundamentals to support APC solutions effectively.
- Experience with diagnostic tools and software relevant to APC systems and customer support.
- Advanced degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field is preferred.
- Experience in Oil&Gas industry.
- Experience working in a fast-paced customer support environment with a focus on industrial or commercial systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Familiarity with Honeywell product lines and industrial automation solutions.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing customer support cases.
