Base pay range $144,000.00/yr - $204,000.00/yr Meta Reality Labs is shaping the future of technology and Meta’s Industrial Design team is helping bring this next generation of hardware to life. You have experience creating world class solutions and use strategic thinking and hands-on skills to create compelling products.Industrial Designer Responsibilities:Design and develop category-defining productsCombine usability, aesthetics, and technical insight to solve complex problemsNavigate cross-functional teams in a complex environmentConceive elegant, effective ways to address ergonomic and mechanical challengesContribute concepts and problem solving across one or more projectsMinimum Qualifications:5+ years of experience developing consumer electronics or wearable tech productsProven communication, visualization, and problem solving skillsFluid command of Rhino 3D, Solidworks, Creo or NXExperience exploring and refining ideas through 2D visualization and physical prototypingExcel in highly ambiguous situationsPreferred Qualifications:Expertise in designing for mass productionDemonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologiesAbout Meta:Meta builds technologies that help people connect, find communities, and grow businesses.
