Overview
The Investment Regional Lead is responsible for providing strategic leadership and operational excellence across media investment and non-biddable media operations, including Linear TV, Print, Out-of-Home (OOH), Radio, and Digital Media. This role ensures high-quality campaign execution, governance, commercial management, stakeholder engagement, and continuous optimization across multiple markets and operational hubs.
The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in media investment and trading with strong people leadership capabilities, overseeing large-scale regional operations, driving client satisfaction, and identifying opportunities for growth, efficiency, and innovation.
We are specifically seeking professionals with extensive experience in media agencies, advertising agencies, and media owners, with a strong understanding of both traditional and digital media ecosystems.
Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Define and execute regional media investment strategies aligned with agency, client, and business objectives.
- Drive operational excellence across all media channels, ensuring consistency, quality, and compliance.
- Act as the senior escalation point for agencies, clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Lead initiatives that improve operational efficiency, scalability, and profitability.
- Identify opportunities to expand scope of work and strengthen long-term client relationships.
Media Investment & Commercial Management
- Oversee media buying, negotiation, trading, and investment activities across traditional and digital channels.
- Lead negotiations with media partners, platforms, and vendors to secure competitive rates, premium inventory, and added value opportunities.
- Manage commercial agreements and ensure alignment with global, regional, and local standards.
- Maintain strong partnerships with media owners, publishers, ad exchanges, technology partners, and measurement providers.
- Own budget pacing, spend forecasting, reconciliation, and financial accuracy across all channels.
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Maintain executive-level relationships with agency leadership, clients, platforms, and internal partners.
- Provide regular business reviews, operational updates, and strategic recommendations.
- Collaborate closely with planning, strategy, activation, analytics, finance, procurement, and operations teams.
- Drive client satisfaction through proactive communication and delivery excellence.
People Leadership
- Lead and develop large regional teams across multiple markets and hubs.
- Manage, coach, and mentor Associate Directors, Managers, Supervisors, and team leaders.
- Drive employee engagement, retention, succession planning, and talent development initiatives.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development teams to define hiring strategies, capability frameworks, and upskilling programs.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Key Functional Responsibilities
- Ensure high-quality media investment execution across traditional and digital media channels.
- Oversee campaign delivery and operational workflows across multiple markets and time zones.
- Monitor and improve SLAs, KPIs, quality standards, and operational performance metrics.
- Lead audits, governance initiatives, and corrective action plans.
- Manage spend tracking, forecasting, billing, invoicing, and reconciliations.
- Deliver executive reporting and actionable business insights to senior leadership.
- Partner with Offshore Program Directors to define resource plans and workforce strategies.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies, contractual obligations, and governance requirements.
Management Responsibilities
- Lead large-scale media and investment teams, potentially overseeing up to 120+ FTEs.
- Ensure consistent service delivery and operational excellence across all markets.
- Monitor performance, risks, operational bottlenecks, and client escalations.
- Promote best practices, standardization, and process optimization.
- Identify and develop future leaders within the organization.
- Drive performance management, coaching conversations, and talent reviews.
- Build a high-performing culture focused on collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
Required Skills & Expertise
Media & Industry Expertise
- Expert knowledge of media investment, trading, buying, and commercial negotiations.
- Deep understanding of both Traditional Media (TV, Radio, Print, OOH) and Digital Media (Programmatic, Social, Search, Display, Video, Retail Media).
- Strong knowledge of media market dynamics, publisher ecosystems, and measurement frameworks.
- Extensive experience working within media agencies, advertising agencies, media owners, broadcasters, publishers, or media networks.
- Knowledge of key industry platforms such as Google, Meta, Amazon, Nielsen, Yahoo, Prisma, DV360, The Trade Desk, and similar technologies.

Qualifications
Required Experience- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in media, investment, trading, media planning, media buying, or delivery leadership roles.
- Mandatory experience in media agencies, advertising agencies (holding groups, independent agencies, or media networks), or leading media organizations.
- Proven expertise managing both traditional and digital media investments.
- Experience leading regional and multicultural teams.
- Demonstrated success managing large-scale operations, budgets, and client relationships.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within global agency networks such as Publicis, WPP, Omnicom, IPG, Dentsu, Havas, Monks, or similar organizations.
- Experience supporting LATAM, North America, or global markets.
- MBA or postgraduate degree is a plus.
- Advanced English proficiency (C1/C2) required.
