Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment in compliance with the company's operating safety policies and procedures
- Ensure company equipment and materials are maintained, kept clean, and stored in a safe manner
- Keep work area and equipment clean by collecting and disposing of trash and excess materials daily
- Proactively communicate with foreman, superintendent, and coworkers
- Properly follow all company policies and OSHA regulations for safe working procedures and the environment
- Operate GPS-enabled dozers for digging, grading, trenching, and earthmoving tasks with precision
- Utilize GPS technology to achieve accurate positioning and excavation control
- Conduct routine maintenance checks and report equipment malfunctions
- Collaborate with team members, including surveyors and supervisors, to ensure project efficiency
Maintain accurate records of work performed and adhere to safety protocols at all times
