We have exciting opportunities for­ Senior Analyst, Contracts positions within the Naval Air Missiles portfolio under the Naval Power Strategic Business Unit. This role will support the contract lifecycle to include preparation & submission of various proposals, administration, and closeout of current production and development programs  working with our Department of Defense customers, as well as closely partnering with functional program team members to understand, guide and support performance of contractual requirements.

What You Will Do

  • Become highly proficient in contract management/administration actions on proposals and contracts across the acquisition life cycle.
  • Investigate and resolve contractual matters by critically thinking, gathering detailed information, and proactively collaborating with relevant stakeholders.
  • Work independently, yet recognize matters that require leadership review and buy-in.
  • Influence others through the explanation of facts, policies and practices.
  • Multi-task routine and complex contract and proposal activities while responding to unplanned quick response requirements as they emerge.
  • Interface with customers regarding correspondence, contractual changes and contractual issues.
  • Draft complex letters that communicate Raytheon’s business position effectively.
  • Advising management of contractual rights and obligations and possible mitigation of contractual/program risks.
  • Work closely with program teams within a matrix environment of program management, engineering, finance, operations, supply chain, and quality functional lead.
  • Some periodic domestical travel up to 15-20% as required.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field
  • Experience with one or more of the following: Contracts Administration, Subcontracts, Procurement, Acquisitions, and /or Finance

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience with proposals and contract administration of U.S. Government Department of Defense contracts including Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) contract types
  • Professional presence complemented by excellent written and verbal communication skills to partner and influence others effectively
  • Excellent time management and organizational to prioritize tasks while delivering timely, high-quality products
  • Sound judgment with strategic mindset and proactiveness to address issues to resolution
  • Ability to effectively partner with cross-functional internal and external stakeholders, including customers and leadership teams

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
