As a Groups, Conferences & Events Sales Executive, you'll do far more than process enquiries—you'll drive revenue, build lasting client relationships and create memorable event experiences in one of the UK's busiest MICE hotels.
We are looking for a results-driven, commercially minded sales professional to join our high-performing team at the Hotel of the Year, located on Brighton's vibrant seafront.

Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
- Manage group, conference and event enquiries from initial enquiry through to contract confirmation.
- Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings, consistently achieving conversion and revenue targets.
- Identify opportunities to maximize revenue through upselling, cross-selling and effective negotiation.
- Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and overcoming objections to secure business.
- Arrange and conduct hotel show rounds to showcase our facilities and services.
- Work closely with operational teams to ensure a seamless handover and exceptional guest experience.
- Manage event administration accurately, maintaining contracts, quotations and customer records.
- Contribute towards departmental sales targets and the overall commercial success of the hotel.
- Support promotional activities and represent the hotel professionally to grow future business.
What are we looking for?
A Groups, Conferences & Events Sales Executive serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and alongside other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should demonstrate:
- A results-driven approach with a genuine passion for sales.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to maximize every sales opportunity.
- Confidence in negotiating, overcoming objections and closing business.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A professional and confident telephone manner.
- The ability to build lasting client relationships.
- A proactive, positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced MICE environment.
- Previous experience in Sales or Hotel Sales.
- High level of IT skills.
- The right to work in the UK.
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
- Previous experience within Conference & Events or Hospitality Sales.
- Knowledge of Hilton systems or other hotel sales and property management systems.
- Experience working within the MICE sector.
- A qualification in Hospitality, Business, Sales or Events Management.
