Accountabilities:

    As a Senior Clinical Trial Analytics Monitor I, you will be responsible for leading analytics initiatives, supporting clinical technology solutions, and ensuring reliable reporting capabilities across clinical research programs. Your responsibilities will include:

    • Collaborating with stakeholders across clinical operations, medical affairs, data management, statistics, and project management teams to gather reporting requirements and align on business needs.
    • Acting as a connection point between technical teams and external/internal stakeholders to ensure reporting solutions are accurate, relevant, and actionable.
    • Leading the collection, documentation, and standardization of reporting requirements to identify opportunities for improved consistency and efficiency.
    • Defining and maintaining standardized metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs), and business definitions across reporting solutions.
    • Designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports using business intelligence tools such as Spotfire and clinical data reporting platforms.
    • Validating data sources, applying transformations, performing quality checks, and ensuring accuracy and consistency across reports.
    • Partnering with technical teams to troubleshoot data integration issues and improve reporting functionality.
    • Supporting the creation and maintenance of BI standards, documentation practices, report repositories, and governance processes.
    • Monitoring performance indicators, identifying trends and anomalies, and providing insights to support data-driven decisions.
    • Supporting clinical technology start-up activities, including requirements documentation, testing plans, user acceptance testing, application demonstrations, and training sessions.
    • Creating and reviewing technical documentation, user guides, and study-specific materials to support effective application use.
    • Contributing to quality assurance processes, product development initiatives, capability improvements, and business development activities.
    • Providing analytical support and recommendations to leadership teams on clinical technology and reporting initiatives.
    • Requirements:

      The ideal candidate combines clinical research expertise, analytics experience, technical proficiency, and strong communication skills to support complex clinical technology environments. Required qualifications and experience include:

      • Bachelor’s degree in health sciences, physical or biological sciences, computer science, or a related field.
      • Minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical research data analytics and business intelligence reporting implementation.
      • 4+ years of experience with programming languages such as SQL, PL/SQL, R, Python, or SAS.
      • Experience developing and maintaining enterprise clinical data standards and reporting solutions.
      • Experience with clinical trial data processing, technology delivery, process analysis, software development lifecycle activities, software testing, and project management.
      • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate issues and develop effective solutions.
      • Experience managing client relationships and collaborating with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
      • Comfort working with web-based applications, technology platforms, and digital tools.
      • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work.
      • Ability to communicate clearly through written and verbal channels, including client-facing interactions.
      • Adaptability and patience when supporting users with varying levels of technical knowledge.
      • Ability to follow security, privacy, compliance standards, and established operational procedures.
