Job Title: Team Leader for Vendor Payments and Disbursements (P2P)
Reports to: Manager Accounts Payable (P2P)

Position Summary
This role oversees Vendor Disbursements Management for EMEA, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timeliness of vendor/employee payments and bank uploads. It manages customer queries, accounts payable reconciliation, and reporting accuracy. Responsibilities include training, supervising business processes, monitoring statistics, and ensuring KPI compliance. Acts as P2P supervisor backup and supports management with reporting and updates.
Key Responsibilities
- Provides daily interaction, training, direction and oversight of staff activities to ensure coordination, accuracy and timely delivery of work outputs.
- Controls all functions associated with Disbursements.
- Monitors and supports payment inquiries.
- Facilitates daily workload distribution.
- Approves daily vendor payments, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and business continuity.
- Leads, coaches, and develops team members, fostering a high-performing and collaborative team environment.
- Monitors team workload, performance, and KPIs to ensure timely and high-quality service delivery.
- Acts as the primary escalation point for operational issues and stakeholder inquiries.
- Drives continuous process improvements and supports automation and standardization initiatives.
- Ensures compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and company policies.
- Maintains business continuity through effective workload planning, cross-training, and backup coverage.
- Builds strong partnerships with internal stakeholders, Treasury, Finance, Procurement, and external banking partners.
- Supports projects, system implementations, and organizational change initiatives impacting the Disbursements function.
- Provides operational reporting and supports the Manager, Accounts Payable, in achieving departmental objectives.
- Ensures quality in customer service levels are maintained both internally and externally.
- Performs special projects and ad-hoc reporting as required within the functional area.
- Has supervisory and administrative responsibility for staff development, including hiring, performance management, coaching, counseling, succession planning, and career development.
Skills Required
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain financial controls.
- Previous Team Leader or people management experience is strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
- Effective training skills and team building capabilities for rapid ramp-up of functional tasks within area of responsibility.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with strong oral and written communication, presentation, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.

Education & Experience
- University or College degree.
- 3+ years prior experience in Shared Services or Global Business Services, preferably in Accounts Payable management.
- SAP, Coupa knowledge.
- Wallstreet knowledge.
- Proficient in English.
