About the Role

JLL's Southeast Asia Pursuits team is a high-performance group of business development strategists dedicated to driving revenue growth — equipping, enriching and enabling business teams to win. Through a strategic and innovative approach to business development, we deliver significant results for every team we partner with.

As Pursuit Lead for [Country], you will work closely with the Country Head and local business line heads to set and execute the Pursuits strategy across the market. You will craft winning proposal strategies, develop compelling value propositions and communicate the unique selling points that differentiate JLL in a highly competitive marketplace — all with a sharp focus on improving win rates and driving revenue growth across business lines and asset classes.

The ideal candidate writes effective, concise and compelling content under pressure, and has the ability to draw accurate, high-quality insights from stakeholders to produce client-centric collateral that wins.


Job Responsibilities

  • Work with local business leaders to deliver the [Country] growth strategy by identifying and managing the market's most significant pitches and leading the teams involved to win.
  • Establish a disciplined approach to pipeline qualification. Apply the Pursuits end-to-end pitching methodology, working closely with broker and sales teams to create winning strategies, value propositions and points of differentiation. Prepare compelling, memorable pitch documents that improve win rates where it matters most.
  • Build and regularly update standard pitch content for low and medium value pitches, and provide advisory support on pitch strategy for those opportunities.
  • Work closely with the Pursuits team’s dedicated graphic design team to achieve exceptional pitch and presentation creative outcomes.
  • Lead rehearsals and coach the presentation team on engagement, chemistry and flow.
  • Lead the adoption and active utilisation of the Pursuits Content Hub — ensuring pitch content remains current, best-in-class and consistently leveraged across the local business.
  • Participate in the firm's client intelligence, client experience and client development programmes as they evolve.
  • Produce other sales collateral such as Capability statement, teasers / Information memorandums etc as required.
  • Ensure that all client materials produced by the Pursuits team adhere to the JLL brand guidelines (including Tone of Voice).
  • Be an active member of the broader Pursuits team, including engaging with members in regional team to share best practice.
  • Support the Regional Pursuits Lead in training and upskilling key stakeholder groups to strengthen local pitch delivery capability.

Requirements

  • Five to seven years’ experience working in a professional services firm, ideally in Pitch Management, Business Development or sales capacity.
  • Strong communicator with excellent writing, presentation and collaboration skills, able to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Commercially minded, and proven ability in understanding, gathering, analysing and interpreting business data required to make business decisions that drive revenue growth
  • Strong influencing skills with a high degree of assertiveness - managing stakeholder expectations in a high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to multitask and prioritise to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong, goal driven team player who demonstrates the commitment, creativity and initiative to ensure that the job gets done and done well.
  • Highly motivated, with a proactive work style and ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, knowledge of basic analytics and up to speed with current digital Business Development techniques and best practices.
  • A keen interest in adopting new technologies that enhance the client pitch experience.
