Title and Summary
Analyst, Financial Planning & AnalysisOverviewWe are looking for a highly technical and execution-driven Analyst to support the automation and analytics transformation agenda within the Business Finance Center (BFC) in Colombia.
This role is primarily focused on designing, building, and scaling data and automation solutions that enhance financial processes and enable faster, better decision-making. The position will act as a key bridge between Finance stakeholders and technical development, ensuring solutions are practical, scalable, and aligned with business needs.
This is not an insights-generation role; instead, the focus is on building the tools, frameworks, and data infrastructure that empower business owners to generate insights independently.
Role
Design and develop data-driven tools, automation solutions, and scalable workflows to enhance FP&A processes and reporting efficiency
Support and accelerate the automation strategy for BFC Colombia, improving tools, processes, and data accessibility
Structure and lead end-to-end project delivery (scoping, design, execution, deployment) for automation and data initiatives
Act as a project lead for technical initiatives, coordinating stakeholders and ensuring timely, high-quality delivery
Build and maintain data models, pipelines, and reporting frameworks that enable self-service analytics
Translate business requirements into technical solutions, and clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Act as a bridge between Finance, business teams, and developers, or directly develop solutions when needed
Drive adoption and usage of tools by training stakeholders and disseminating technical knowledge across the organization
Identify opportunities for process improvement, standardization, and automation across financial workflows [Finanzas | Word]
Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across all solutions developed [Tecnico | Word]

Ability to design and implement end-to-end data solutions (ingestion → transformation → visualization)
Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and workflow automation
Experience building scalable and reusable data solutions
Project & Stakeholder Management
Ability to structure projects from ambiguity, define scope, and manage delivery end-to-end
Comfortable acting as technical project lead at Analyst level (hands-on + coordination)
Strong stakeholder management skills, including interaction with senior leadership
Ability to communicate complex technical topics in a clear, business-friendly way
Finance & Business Context (Supporting)
Basic understanding of FP&A processes (forecasting, reporting, KPIs) [Finanzas | Word]
Experience working with financial data is preferred
Knowledge of Hyperion or similar financial systems is a plus

Experience in process automation, reporting transformation, or financial systems preferred

English proficiency
Availability to go to the office 3 times a week
Key Success Factors
Ability to build tools, not just analyze data
Strong ownership of project delivery and execution
