Accountabilities:

    • Develop, maintain, and enhance proprietary regional economic and demographic datasets that support forecasting, analytics, and strategic research initiatives.
    • Source, ingest, clean, and harmonize international data from statistical agencies, central banks, multilateral institutions, and commercial providers to ensure consistency and reliability.
    • Design and operationalize production-grade data pipelines, validation processes, and recurring workflows for data refreshes and quality assurance.
    • Apply econometric techniques, time series methodologies, statistical analysis, and geospatial concepts to improve data quality, usability, and comparability across regions and time periods.
    • Build reproducible analytical frameworks and documentation standards, including data provenance, methodology descriptions, version control, and auditability processes.
    • Collaborate closely with economists, data scientists, and product stakeholders to translate complex datasets into scalable analytical assets and decision-ready insights.
    • Leverage AI-enabled tools and modern development workflows to enhance productivity, improve data accessibility, and support innovative analytical solutions.
    • Requirements

      • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Data Science, Finance, Applied Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline.
      • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in economics, demographic analysis, financial research, data science, statistics, or similar quantitative fields.
      • Strong expertise in international and regional economics, including subnational and cross-country economic, demographic, and financial analysis.
      • Advanced knowledge of time series analysis, econometrics, statistical modeling, estimation techniques, and data validation methodologies.
      • Experience working with international datasets and understanding concepts such as seasonality, revisions, geographic harmonization, and data comparability.
      • Strong programming capabilities with experience building analytical pipelines, reproducible workflows, and automated data infrastructure.
      • Familiarity with geospatial data concepts, geographic crosswalks, and boundary changes in support of regional analysis.
      • Practical experience using AI tools, coding assistants, and modern AI-enabled development environments to streamline workflows and solve business challenges.
      • Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across interdisciplinary teams.
