As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you’re not just ensuring the upkeep and cleanliness of the hotel – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.
As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will support the Housekeeping Department by ensuring the upkeep and cleanliness of the entire hotel. Specifically, a Housekeeping Floor Supervisor will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
Responsible for smooth operation of the floor assigned.
Responsible for the performance of housekeeping attendants.
Supervise Housekeeping Attendants.
Organizes and facilitates room making process.
Daily allocation of rooms and deep cleaning tasks to team members.
Responsible for the cleanliness of guest rooms, corridors and heart of the house area of the floor.
Checks the occupied and departure rooms, giving special attention to guest needs.
Ensures that the entire operation is performed as per the laid down standards.
To organise immediately the guest needs under intimation to Director of Housekeeping, Assistant Executive Housekeepers and Senior Housekeeping Supervisors.
Manage guest requests, including VIP amenities and communicating them to the relevant team members.
Routine inspection of guest bedrooms to ensure they meet standards.
Routine inspection of public areas.
Aware of all room categories and amenities.
Achieve positive outcomes from guest queries in a timely and efficient manner.
Carry out lost and found procedures.
Report maintenance issues to Maintenance/Engineering Department.
Assist with training requirements.
Ensures that damages to hotel properties, furniture’s and other hotel items are immediately attended and reported to Senior Managers followed through with a log report at the end of the shift.
Represent the needs of the team to others in the hotel.
Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation.
Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships.
Carry out any other reasonable task set by the Hotel's Management.
