We’re growing quickly, and looking for the best to join us!As a Materials Informatics Consultant, you will work directly with our customers and commercial team to solve challenging problems at the intersection of materials science and machine learning. This role includes regular travel, up to 50%, to customer sites to support the Citrine Platform rollout and adoption, deliver hands-on training, and help customers integrate Citrine into their technical workflows.About the RoleCitrine is building the future of data and AI in the materials industry. As a Materials Informatics Consultant on the Commercial team, you will work directly with our customers to solve challenging problems at the intersection of materials science and machine learning. You’ll provide outstanding technical support, deployment assistance, and materials informatics training to help customers understand how to use Citrine tools and integrate machine learning into their R&D workflows.This is a customer-facing technical role that includes regular onsite engagement. You should be excited to travel to customer sites, up to 50%, to support Citrine deployments, lead hands-on enablement sessions, build trusted relationships with technical users, and help customers accelerate adoption of the Citrine Platform.ResponsibilitiesAssisting Citrine Platform users with materials informatics challenges to accelerate product development at materials, chemicals, and manufacturing companiesSupporting Citrine Platform deployments through a combination of remote collaboration and onsite customer engagementTraveling to customer sites, up to 50%, to deliver hands-on deployment support, workflow guidance, technical enablement, and user trainingDeveloping and supporting customer’s AI assets, such as AI models, on the Citrine Platform in collaboration with Citrine Commercial team membersFrequent and empathetic communication with customers to provide unparalleled, domain-aware materials informatics supportHandling incoming support requests from Citrine Platform users, including reporting and reproducing Citrine Platform bugs and feature requestsProviding data formatting and data ingestion guidance to Citrine Platform usersCleaning, structuring, and exploring materials informatics dataCreating knowledge base content, such as articles, that extends Citrine’s library of user-accessible materials informatics content and addresses frequently asked questions from usersCreating and maintaining training materials to reflect the newest Citrine Platform featuresSkills and ExperienceDegree in materials science, chemistry, physics, or a related fieldEnthusiasm for working with customers in the materials industry to drive adoption...
