The Digital Healthcare Biosensors group at Analog Devices is pioneering a portfolio of advanced sensor platforms designed to bridge biology and technology, enabling a transformative new business franchise for ADI. Our current initiatives span Life Sciences, Diagnostics, and Pharmaceutical markets.
The Biosensor team at Analog Devices is seeking an accomplished technical leader with deep expertise in hardware systems and a proven track record of shaping innovative solutions in partnership with customers. As a Systems Application Engineer, you will serve as the primary technical interface for strategic healthcare and pharmaceutical partners, translating complex requirements into robust biosensor platforms. You will drive cross-functional collaboration across global, multi-disciplinary teams, championing the expansion of our technology portfolio and accelerating the establishment of a new business franchise.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop technical landscape analyses to identify trends and unmet needs within target application domains.
- Engage with ADI sales and field teams to build relationships with customers and explore emerging activities.
- Drive deep technical engagements with strategic customers working closely with the Biosensors development team to translate customer problem statements into requirements for future solutions.
- Collaborate across muti-disciplinary teams (Marketing, Hardware, Software, Engineering, Manufacturing) and with external partners to deliver complete system solutions.
- Be a key contributor in project meetings.
- Lead customer engagements throughout the product development cycle. Be the voice for the customer from concept to product launch.
Qualifications & Requirements.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in mechanical engineering, electronic engineering, chemistry, biology or a related field – 10+ years industry experience.
- Dedicated customer engagement experience in the Lifescience, Diagnostics or Pharma space.
- Hands-on experience with electrochemical/fluidics/optical/mechanical developments would be very valuable.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Demonstrated track record of success in:

Shift Type: 1st Shift/DaysThe expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $131,285 to $190,108.
Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.
This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.
