Position Overview
The Director of Product Management is accountable for the strategy, performance, and evolution of the Legal Software portfolio. This role is responsible for driving customer value and business outcomes, including revenue growth, retention, and market differentiation.
This leader will shape and execute a product strategy that evolves the portfolio toward a unified, platform-based, AI-enabled SaaS ecosystem, aligning products, data, and workflows into scalable, globally consistent solutions. Partnering closely with Engineering, Design, and Go-To-Market leaders, the Director will drive product innovation, operational excellence, and measurable business impact.
Key Responsibilities
1. Product Strategy & Market Leadership
- Define and evolve a clear, differentiated product strategy grounded in customer needs, market opportunities, and competitive dynamics
- Establish target segments, ideal customer profiles (ICP), and value propositions
- Drive product-market fit and long-term positioning of the portfolio
- Translate strategy into clear product visions, roadmaps and strategic priorities,
2. Product Portfolio Performance & Commercial Impact
- Drive and optimize overall product portfolio performance, including ARR growth, Net Revenue Retention (NRR), adoption, and profitability
- Define and evolve pricing, packaging, and monetization strategies
- Partner with Sales and Marketing to influence pipeline, bookings, and win rates
- Ensure disciplined investment allocation aligned with strategic priorities and ROI
- Monitor portfolio health and optimize performance through data-driven decisions
3. Customer Value & Experience Excellence
- Drive deep customer insight through research, feedback and analytics to continuously improve product experience and outcomes
- Ensure delivery of exceptional user experience (UX) across all products and workflows
- Improve customer activation, engagement, and time-to-value across the portfolio
4. Product Development & Delivery
- Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle: discovery, definition, delivery, adoption, and optimization
- Partner with Engineering and Design in a strong product-engineering-design triad
- Enable metrics-based product development, through OKRs, experimentation, and continuous improvement
- Drive delivery speed, predictability, and quality across teams
5. AI-Enabled Innovation
- Identify and prioritize high-value AI and data-driven use cases aligned to customer and business outcomes
- Ensure AI capabilities are applied pragmatically to solve real customer problems and unlock measurable value
- Lead experimentation, MVP development, and scaling of successful solutions
6. Platform & Ecosystem Strategy
- Drive convergence toward a scalable platform architecture, reducing fragmentation and enabling reuse
- Lead development of API-first capabilities, integrations, and partner ecosystems
- Enable cross-product interoperability and shared services
7. Go-To-Market Alignment
- Partner with Product Marketing to define positioning, messaging, and launch strategies
- Ensure alignment with Sales and Customer Success on value proposition, enablement, and adoption
- Support strategic deals and key customer engagements to drive growth and retention
8. Product Operating Model & Execution Excellence
- Define and evolve a product operating model that governs prioritization, decision making and execution at scale
- Establish clear ownership, decision rights, and prioritization frameworks
- Drive organizational clarity, simplification, and execution discipline
9. Cross-Functional Leadership
- Align internal functions – including Product, Engineering, Data, Content, and Commercial teams around shared goals and execution priorities
- Act as a senior connector and decision-maker, removing barriers and accelerating progress
- Influence executive stakeholders and contribute to broader enterprise strategy
10. People Leadership & Organizational Development
- Build and lead a high-performing, international product organization
- Develop product management capabilities, career paths, and leadership bench strength
- Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, customer focus, and continuous learning

Required Experience & Capabilities
- Proven experience in senior product leadership roles within B2B SaaS environments
- Track record of owning and scaling multi-product portfolios, ideally at significant revenue scale
- Strong business acumen, with demonstrated ownership of revenue, growth, and monetization outcomes
- Deep expertise in modern product management practices, including agile development, discovery, and experimentation
- Experience driving platform strategies, ecosystem development, and product integration
- Strong understanding of data and AI application in real-world products
- Demonstrated ability to lead transformation and scale operating models in complex organizations
- Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, including executive-level engagement
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making capabilities
Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive experience in product management, including senior leadership roles
- Significant experience in enterprise SaaS or software platforms
- Experience operating in global, matrixed organizations
- Proven success leading cross-functional teams at scale
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred
