As our Barcelona office grows, we are seeking an Architect (+7 years) with construction site experience to lead the design and technical supervision related to the construction of one of our exciting projects in Cyprus. This role is based on-site in Cyprus, with periodic stays in our Barcelona office to coordinate with the design and technical teams. Being Cypriot or Greek is considered a plus, given local knowledge and familiarity with local regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Directly liaise with the client and subconsultants to monitor construction progress, resolve design issues, and ensure smooth project delivery.
- Collaborate closely with the Barcelona office team to provide regular reports, align project strategies, and coordinate technical and design decisions.
- Oversee and advise the team on technical, construction, and delivery aspects both on-site and remotely.
- Ensure design, detailing, and documentation meet the highest technical standards.
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, and risks, providing proactive mitigation strategies.
- Support the team in developing creative design solutions while maintaining technical rigor.
Requirements:
- A professional degree in architecture or constructing architecture ("arquitecto técnico") and +7 years professional experience in the role.
- Excellent communication skills, fluent in Spanish and English, spoken and written. Being Cypriot or Greek is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills, the ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and manage own time.
- Willingness to take on constructive guidance in response to direction from Director/Partner.
- Excellent level of technical competency and industry knowledge.
- Extensive experience of technical design development, delivery and construction.
- Clear understanding of the creative design process through all work stages.
- Willingness to work on-site in Cyprus while coordinating with the Barcelona office.
