Accountabilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage enterprise storage systems across platforms such as NetApp ONTAP, Pure Storage, and Ceph
- Operate SAN, NAS, and object storage solutions across data center, edge, and cloud environments
- Build and support storage integrations for VMware, Kubernetes (CSI), and database workloads
- Develop and maintain replication, snapshot, backup, and disaster recovery strategies
- Implement storage automation using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and REST APIs
- Monitor and optimize performance, capacity, and cost across distributed storage systems
- Lead storage upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management while maintaining high availability
- Build observability and monitoring frameworks to proactively detect capacity and performance issues
- Troubleshoot complex multi-layer storage issues across network, host, and platform layers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align storage architecture with workload requirements and business needs
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise storage engineering or infrastructure roles
- Strong hands-on expertise with NetApp ONTAP, Pure Storage, or Ceph in production environments
- Solid understanding of SAN, NAS, and object storage architectures and protocols
- Experience integrating storage systems with VMware and Kubernetes environments
- Strong automation skills using Ansible, Terraform, scripting, or REST APIs
- Knowledge of storage performance tuning, capacity planning, and cost optimization
- Experience with backup, replication, and data protection strategies
- Strong troubleshooting skills across distributed infrastructure environments
- Familiarity with hybrid cloud storage architectures is a plus
- Strong communication, collaboration, and operational discipline in production environments
