The EMEA Scheduling Manager is responsible for leading the regional scheduling strategy, governance, and continuous improvement framework across the EMEA construction portfolio. This role establishes the standards, mechanisms, and processes that drive schedule consistency, predictability, and reporting across all construction programs while enabling Construction Managers and General Contractors to successfully deliver projects safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
Reporting into the Business & Project Controls function, the Scheduling Manager partners closely with Construction, Preconstruction, Cost Controls, Commissioning, Engineering, Design, Global Planning, Business Intelligence and external delivery partners to develop an integrated approach to project controls across the entire project lifecycle.
This role is responsible for defining and maintaining the EMEA Schedule Specification, establishing scheduling governance mechanisms, driving contractor adoption of scheduling standards, and providing executive-level visibility into schedule health across the regional portfolio.

• Partner with General Contractors, scheduling consultants and Construction Managers to improve schedule quality and consistency across the regional portfolio.
• Review contractor schedules to validate logic, sequencing, critical path, schedule risk, constraints and compliance with EMEA standards.
• Hold contractors accountable for schedule quality, reporting accuracy and timely submission of project schedules.
• Support schedule recovery planning, delay analysis and mitigation strategies for projects experiencing schedule risk.
• Develop contractor scorecards and performance metrics that measure scheduling maturity and compliance.
Project Controls Integration
• Partner with Cost Controls, Commissioning, Construction and Business Intelligence teams to establish an integrated project controls framework across schedule, cost, risk and commissioning.
• Support the development of portfolio reporting and executive dashboards providing consistent visibility from project through regional portfolio level.
• Define schedule KPIs and reporting mechanisms supporting operational reviews and executive decision making.
• Drive consistent reporting standards across all EMEA projects.
Construction Support
• Provide strategic scheduling guidance to Construction Managers throughout project planning and execution.
• Support planning activities from preconstruction through project completion including schedule development, baseline reviews, schedule updates and change management.
• Evaluate impacts of scope changes, procurement risks, commissioning activities and construction sequencing on project schedules.
• Support schedule contingency planning and schedule risk management across complex construction projects.
Digital Transformation
• Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of scheduling systems and digital tools including Primavera P6, Procore Scheduling and portfolio reporting platforms.
• Improve schedule data quality to enable automated reporting and executive dashboards.
• Partner with technology and Business Intelligence teams to develop scalable reporting mechanisms and analytics.
Leadership & Capability Development
• Build regional scheduling capability through training, coaching and development of Construction Managers, contractors and scheduling partners.
• Develop training material and scheduling guidance documentation supporting consistent adoption of EMEA standards.
• Support the development of regional scheduling resources and third-party scheduling partners as the organisation continues to scale.

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, construction management or similar technical focus
- Experience in construction or project management, or experience working in a data center or mission critical facility (example: hospital, military facility, public safety facility, etc.)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, and MS Project) at an advanced level
- Experience with vendor and contractor/subcontractor negotiation and management skills associated with construction and project execution
- Experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses, or experience communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience communicating complex information and solutions to senior stakeholders and influencing decisions, or experience communicating results to senior leadership
- Demonstrated experience developing scheduling standards, governance frameworks and project controls processes.
