We are currently exporting to over 17 countries from India currently.Read to learn more ▶️ https://lnkd.in/gd7brT8SAs we continue to expand our global footprint, we are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager – International Business (Pharma) to drive strategic customer acquisition and business growth.Key ResponsibilitiesDrive international business development for Scimplify's Pharma vertical by identifying and acquiring new customers across regulated and semi-regulated markets.Promote Scimplify's CDMO, Contract Manufacturing, Custom Synthesis, API, Pharmaceutical Intermediate, and Fine Chemical capabilities to global pharmaceutical companies.Identify new business opportunities for custom manufacturing projects and long-term supply partnerships.Build and manage relationships with procurement teams, sourcing managers, R&D teams, category managers, and business leaders within pharmaceutical organizations.Understand customer requirements and collaborate with technical, sourcing, regulatory, quality, and manufacturing teams to develop competitive techno-commercial proposals.Lead the complete sales lifecycle, including lead generation, customer qualification, opportunity development, quotation management, commercial negotiations, and contract closure.Develop strategic account plans to grow existing customer relationships and maximize revenue opportunities.Work closely with partner manufacturing sites to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.Monitor global pharmaceutical market trends, customer requirements, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.Represent Scimplify at international exhibitions, customer meetings, conferences, and industry events.Prepare sales forecasts, business plans, and pipeline reports to achieve annual business objectives.Preferred Product & Service ExperienceCandidates should have experience in one or more of the following:Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs)Pharmaceutical IntermediatesFine ChemicalsCustom SynthesisCDMO / CMO ServicesContract Development & ManufacturingCRAMSGeneric Pharmaceutical ProductsSpecialty Pharmaceutical IngredientsPreferred Customer ExposureExperience working with:Global pharmaceutical companiesGeneric drug manufacturersInnovator pharmaceutical companiesCDMO customersProcurement and strategic sourcing teamsR&D and technology transfer teamsDesired Candidate ProfileBachelor's or Master's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related discipline. MBA is an added advantage.5–12 years of experience in International Business, Business Development, or Global Sales within the pharmaceutical industry.Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical manufacturing ecosystem, including CDMO, contract manufacturing, APIs, intermediates, and custom synthesis.Proven experience in developing international business and managing global customer relationships.Excellent commercial negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with a solution-oriented mindset.Willingness to travel internationally as required.
