About the Position: This position is located in the Directorate of Clinical Support, Dept of Preventive Medicine Industrial Hygiene # 1 This is a Direct Hire Solicitation Develop a comprehensive Industrial Hygiene Implementation Plan for the medical treatment facility to eliminate health hazards. Perform special studies to support the development of office policy and the application of new or existing policies. Schedule and conduct industrial hygiene surveys to determine compliance with current federal regulations. Participate in developing controls to minimize or eliminate actual or potential health hazards in collaboration with other specialists across various military facilities. Recommend control measures to reduce hazardous environmental conditions within the facilities. Utilize appropriate equipment to determine compliance or noncompliance with current industrial hygiene and occupational health standards. Review constructions pans for ew construction and/or renovation to identify any potential occupational hazard
