Accountabilities
- Lead the end-to-end product design process, from user research and concept development to wireframing, prototyping, visual design, and implementation support.
- Create intuitive, accessible, and visually engaging experiences that address complex user needs while aligning with business objectives.
- Apply user-centered design principles to improve workflows and enhance the overall product experience.
- Contribute to the development and evolution of a scalable design system, ensuring consistency across the platform.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, researchers, and cross-functional stakeholders to define requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Conduct and support user research activities to validate design decisions, understand customer needs, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Analyze user feedback, product data, and behavioral insights to continuously enhance existing features and experiences.
- Provide design guidance, mentorship, and constructive feedback to other designers while helping establish strong design practices.
- Advocate for design excellence and ensure customer needs remain at the center of product decisions.
- Support successful product launches by creating clear design specifications and partnering with engineering teams throughout implementation.
- 5+ years of professional product design experience, preferably within SaaS, enterprise software, or technology platforms.
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in UX/UI design, complex problem-solving, and designing sophisticated workflows.
- Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms.
- Experience creating and maintaining design systems and understanding scalable product design principles.
- Familiarity with front-end development concepts and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain design decisions clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
- Experience designing solutions for professional users, enterprise customers, or complex operational workflows.
- Familiarity with legal technology or legal industry processes is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively with distributed teams, with preference for candidates located in the EST timezone to support collaboration with international team members.
- Competitive base salary range of $150,000–$175,000 depending on experience, location, qualifications, and skills.
