Expected salary range of $203,400 to $226,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).
Responsibilities
Primary Purpose of Position
Serve as a senior technology leader for Constellation's Generation business, owning a major application and digital portfolio and serving as the IT interface to business and technology leadership across Nuclear, Power, Fleet Support, Operations, Engineering, Licensing, Regulatory, and Digital organizations.
Lead and develop high-performing teams of 25–40 employees, contractors, managed service providers, and strategic partners responsible for envisioning, delivering, operating, and continuously improving mission-critical applications that support safe, reliable, compliant, and efficient operations across Constellation's nuclear, hydro, wind, solar, natural gas, geothermal, and other Generation assets.
Partner with business and IT leadership to develop and execute technology strategies, product roadmaps, and investment plans that align business objectives with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, data governance, Responsible AI principles, and enterprise technology standards. Govern and prioritize technology investments ranging from $1 million to $50 million+, ensuring delivery of measurable business value through successful execution of medium and large-scale technology initiatives.
Maintain accountability for stable, secure, resilient operations while advancing application modernization, AI-enabled capabilities, intelligent automation, data integration, digital delivery, and next-generation technologies that improve business performance, workforce productivity, operational effectiveness, and decision-making.
Operate at the intersection of Generation operations, enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, data governance, vendor ecosystems, and large-scale technology delivery, translating business needs into effective technology solutions and serving as a trusted advisor to business leadership.
Establish and maintain strategic relationships with key technology providers, industry leaders, research organizations, and innovation partners to accelerate digital capabilities, strengthen delivery performance, and support the long-term technology strategy of the Generation business.
Participate in the overall leadership of the Information Technology organization, providing strategic direction, organizational leadership, and oversight of vendor partnerships and contracts supporting the Generation business.
Primary Duties and Accountabilities
- Manage the maintenance, support, and minor enhancement of applications and systems of a product portfolio that delivers world-class performance and service.
- Maintain relationships with business clients to ensure business processes and requirements are clearly identified and well understood, and participate in committees and forums that drive investment and technology strategy for the supported product portfolio.
- Partner with business clients to justify and prioritize small project investments and manage the delivery and execution of small projects while ensuring top quartile levels.
- Manage relationships with system integration vendors to deliver large, complex projects with significant change management challenges.
- Drive process improvement and lead adoption of standard Management Model processes and procedures, which deliver sustainable top quartile cost and performance levels.
- Evaluate performance and provide personnel coaching.
- Provide input on development and retention processes.
- Prepare and manage budget for area of responsibility.
- Promote inclusion and foster teamwork, collaboration, and a learning organization.
- Provide strategic guidance and act as a trusted advisor to business leaders.
- Advance application modernization and digital transformation initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 12 years of related experience
- Experience and deep knowledge of foundational business processes
- Demonstrated operational planning, consulting, execution and improvement, combined with customer engagement skills and experience leading teams and people through organizational and operational change
- Excellent consultative skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation. Advanced interpersonal skills, communications skills, and presentation skills. Demonstrated ability to present and discuss complex technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding and approval
- Previous hands-on experience with business applications or the product portfolio
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in technical discipline (Computer Science, Computer Science Engineer, Engineering Technology, etc)
- Master's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Business (MBA), or a related field
- Platform experience: Asset Suite, Maximo, AVEVA PI, Appian, ServiceNow, or Oracle.
- AI-enabled applications, GenAI, agentic workflows, MLOps, Responsible AI; PMP / CISSP certifications.
- Mission-critical application portfolio leadership in energy, utilities, nuclear, or comparable regulated environment.
- Prior energy / utilities experience — generation, nuclear, plant systems, or fleet operations.
- NERC CIP, NRC nuclear cyber, SOX, or comparable regulated compliance frameworks.
