Accountabilities:
- Provide L1/L1.5 functional support for Workday HCM applications, ensuring prompt resolution of incidents, service requests, and user queries while meeting defined service levels.
- Troubleshoot issues across Workday modules, including Core HCM, Staffing, Compensation, Payroll, Benefits, Security, Business Processes, Reporting, and inbound EIB integrations.
- Perform Workday configuration updates, routine system maintenance, testing, validation, and support deployment activities for enhancements and releases.
- Collaborate with HR, business stakeholders, and IT teams to analyze functional requirements, resolve production issues, and recommend effective solutions.
- Support security administration, user provisioning, access management, and business process configuration while maintaining compliance with organizational standards.
- Monitor support queues, perform root cause analysis, escalate complex issues to higher support levels when appropriate, and contribute to continuous service improvement.
- Create and maintain functional documentation, knowledge articles, SOPs, user guides, and reporting support materials while mentoring junior team members and sharing best practices.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- 6+ years of professional experience, including hands-on Workday HCM functional support in L1/L1.5 production environments.
- Strong functional expertise across Workday HCM modules, including Core HCM, Staffing, Compensation, Payroll, Benefits, Security, Business Processes, Reporting, and inbound EIBs.
- Experience with Workday configuration, production support, troubleshooting, reporting, security administration, and access management.
- Solid understanding of ITSM processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request Management.
- Experience collaborating with HR teams, business stakeholders, and technical teams within Agile delivery environments.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain functional concepts to non-technical users.
- Workday certification is preferred.
- Willingness to work the 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM IST shift to support US business hours.
